Algebra – 2024/2025
In this year-long class, we will cover a variety of topics including integers, algebraic expressions, linear and quadratic equations and inequalities, polynomials, functions, graphing, radicals, statistics and probability and factoring.
Students are ready for this class if they are familiar with basic arithmetic, fractions and decimals, the number line, and ratios and proportions.
No textbook is required, but the students will need a workbook for class work and some of the homework.

Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 10-11:15 am Pacific Standard Time
Cost: $550 per semester or $1000 if you pay for both semesters at once

My son has not taken this exact math class yet, but he has taken 2 other math classes from beth and specifically requested that he take algebra from her. He has really enjoyed her classes.

My 15 yr old son took Beth’s Algebra 1 class. She took the time to make sure he understood the concepts before moving on, and she did not bury him in unnecessary homework. He enjoyed the class and is looking forward to taking her Real Life Math class in the fall. We definitely recommend her algebra class. HE HAD TAKEN SEVERAL ONLINE MATH CLASSES FROM OUTSCHOOL PRIOR to Beth’s class AND IT WAS NOT A GREAT EXPEREINCE FOR HIM, A LOT OF FRUSTRATION.
