The Learning Corner is the place to find quality, well-crafted, and meaningful classes for your children. Our elective and foundational courses will bring a boost to your child’s education, expand on their skills, and supplement what is happening in your home.
Meet our founders: Genevieve and Jean-Albert Arnold. Genevieve is a torch bearing educator, who has taught academic classes to homeschool kids in person and online for the last 20 years. Even before online became the most viable option for education, Genevieve taught writing, history, and literature to eager students online and in person. Almost 10 years ago, she founded a successful homeschool co-operative in Tacoma, WA (www.filacommonwealth.org), which has since split three times. She has a degree in secondary education and continues to regularly update her own teaching skills through personal development and training.
Jean-Albert is a visionary workhorse with a passion for entrepreneurship and education. He started coding at the age of 1o and combined that with a love for fixing things, solving puzzles, and building, building, building. Over the years, Jean-Albert started and operated several businesses including a cube store (Atomic Cubed). He is also an on-demand website developer and, most importantly, remains an all-around starry-eyed idealist.
When these two came together, it just made sense to start their own business and continue to bring that same quality and passion for learning and teaching to more families via The Learning Corner. Together Genevieve and Jean-Albert have assembled a team of educational professionals, artists, and veteran homeschool educators all with a passion to teach, mentor, and share their love of learning with your children.
